Job Title: Remediation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Remediation Specialist to join our team at Https:/Www.Energyjobline.Com/Sitemap. As a Remediation Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and developing proposals and projects covering all environmental aspects and associated regulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee remediation projects from beginning to completion.
  • Manage and develop remediation proposals and projects covering all environmental aspects, associated regulation, and staffing requirements.
  • Conduct remedial alternatives analysis.
  • Oversee project budget and costs-benefit analyses.
  • Coordinate and appoint subcontractors.
  • Implement remediation proposals and handle all technical aspects.
  • Perform generic and detailed quantitative risk assessment.
  • Carry out site work including set up and commissioning of treatment systems.
  • Ensure all parties meet compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Obtain necessary permits involved in the remediation project.
  • Train staff on how to use and implement remediation systems.
  • Compile technical reports, daily logs and soil, water, and chemical audits.
  • Build sustainable relationships to meet our business development goals.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and team by evaluating project successes and challenges and sharing lessons learned to enhance performance within the business.
  • Apply and encourage a high level of health and safety awareness and quality management at all times.
  • Ensure effective communication with the project team and clients.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of related experience, with a multinational company, is preferred.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Technically skilled to perform process-oriented and sampling tasks.
  • Demonstrable ability to keep up to date with the latest legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Motivated individual with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with the initiative to complete tasks.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills and be a time manager.
  • Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel nationally to conduct site visits.
  • Open and honest.
  • A background in Industry is advantageous, as is experience in the Consulting sector.
  • Licensed to drive a vehicle in ITA (essential).
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Environmental Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering
