Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role:
At JMA Wireless, we're pushing the boundaries of 5G technology to make it possible for organizations with the most critical connectivity demands in the world. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and enabling CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated tests, vulnerability assessments, and deployment to on-premises environments. Your expertise in Python, Bash, and Ansible will help automate routine tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve efficiency in systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with the Security team to implement security practices across the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Script automation and process improvement using Python, Bash, and Ansible to automate routine tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve efficiency in systems and processes.
  • Support the Security team in implementing security practices across the DevOps lifecycle, including secure code reviews, automated security testing, and container scanning.
  • Collaborate with R&D departments to configure and customize project management and issue tracking tools.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and tool development.
  • Good knowledge of Linux, including hands-on CLI experience.
  • Proficient with Git, including branching, merging, and collaboration practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of container technologies, such as Docker and/or Podman, and experience with container orchestration.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate them into automation scripts and applications.
