Job Description

We are seeking an Incoming Inspection Technician to join our team at Hitachi Rail STS Italy - Piossasco (TO). As part of our Supply Chain Quality Unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely inspections of incoming materials, aligning with our company's strategy.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming products to verify proper documentation and compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and complete inspection reports, related paperwork, and ensure accurate recording of information.
  • Manage and supervise Incoming Inspection Quality Notifications throughout their lifecycle, providing prompt warnings for critical or unresolved issues.
  • Investigate and propose corrective action plans, product containment, and disposition strategies.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve incoming nonconformities and implement timely solutions.
  • E nsure adherence to Incoming Inspection Procedures/Instructions within the local team, contribute to process improvement, and participate in audits as needed.

The ideal candidate should possess a Technical Secondary School Diploma and have knowledge of fundamentals, technical drawing, electronic parts, measurement tools, and IPC standards. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential for this role.

Requirements
  • Technical Secondary School Diploma.
  • Knowledge of fundamentals, technical drawing, electronic parts, measurement tools, and IPC standards.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Word, or equivalent software applications.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP).
  • Strong inter-personal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, External Providers, and Customers.
  • Team-working oriented, work ethic, and personal integrity.
  • Communication skills with honesty, kindness, and ability to create a positive work environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
Estimated Salary:

€45,000 - €55,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
