Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer C++ at Open Mind Technologies Ag, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing low-level mathematical algorithms in our geometrical kernel. Your main tasks will include requirements analysis, software enhancement, algorithm design and development, agile collaboration, and idea contribution.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with a creative team to analyze requirements for new and ongoing development of our CAD software.
Enhance existing software modules and participate in implementing new product features to improve functionality and usability.
Maintain and increase basic geometrical kernel functions for colleagues and product management.
Design and develop algorithms aimed at supporting the whole design process within our software.
Work collaboratively and in an agile manner with our product management and innovation team, engaging in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project objectives.
Actively contribute innovative ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new solution concepts, fostering a collaborative and constructive environment within the team.

Requirements
Successfully completed studies in mathematics, physics, or mechanical engineering, providing a solid foundation for the role.
Proficiency in C++ and in-depth knowledge enabling you to contribute effectively to software development tasks.
3-5 years of professional experience working with software used in development, showcasing your ability to navigate and contribute to complex software projects.
Strong interest in mathematical questions, such as those from differential geometry or computational geometry, and derive practical solutions.
Deep knowledge in NURBS is required, advantageous.
Fluency in communication, at least B2 level, in both Italian and English, facilitating effective collaboration and communication within the team.
