We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Architect to lead our software architecture definition and provide technical leadership to our Software Department.

You will collaborate with other teams to build and maintain a holistic view of the software solution, the product, and its business requirements.

As a Cloud Native Architect, you will define the product architecture evolution, drive the right choices, and assist the teams in the product life cycle.

You will investigate and propose next-generation technologies to solve current and future technical challenges.

Our core software engineering department is based in Lucca, where all teams work closely together in developing our products for major industries such as banking, insurance, automotive, and food and beverage.

We leverage teamwork, self-organization, and proactivity as the best solution comes from collective intelligence and collaborative decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  1. Define the product architecture evolution
  2. Assist the teams in the product life cycle
  3. Collaborate with Product Management
  4. Investigate and propose next-generation technologies
  5. Maintain the holistic view of the system
  6. Master software development methodologies and technologies
  7. Cooperate with Product Management to address business requirements
  8. Drive leadership in challenging situations
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science
  2. Strong experience with Java or C#
  3. Strong understanding of design patterns and software development best practices
  4. Solid experience with test practices and DevOps
  5. Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  6. Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies
  7. Strong experience in designing distributed systems and microservices architecture
  8. Good knowledge of publish-subscribe concepts and implementations
  9. Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
  10. Good experience in application performance analysis and resulting optimizations
  11. Proven experience in software requirements analysis and technical documentation
  12. Experience with Relational Databases
  13. Fluency in English
