We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering team at Amazon Italia Transport Srl. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the success of the team.
- Safety and Compliance: Collaborate with the site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Equipment Availability: Work with the EU Engineering team to plan and implement strategies to ensure high levels of equipment availability, minimizing downtime and improving overall efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in network-wide improvement initiatives, implementing standards and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Recruitment and Talent Development: Work with the recruitment team to attract and retain top talent, developing and mentoring direct reports to ensure the growth and development of the team.
- Project Management: Manage projects and initiatives to drive business outcomes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical disciplines, with experience in automated equipment and PLC-based control systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, as required.
- Chartered Engineer: Chartered Engineer or working towards it, with a strong understanding of specialized engineering and facilities equipment.
- Full Working Knowledge: Full working knowledge of all specialized engineering and facilities equipment within the FC, as well as maintenance and safety procedures.
