We are seeking a highly skilled Silicon Design Engineer to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As a key member of our Smart Eyewear Team, you will be responsible for designing custom ICs for audio-based smart eyewear with hearing aid functions, focusing on extreme low power profiles, beamforming, and digital signal processing.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop custom ICs for audio-based smart eyewear, incorporating hearing aid functions and low power consumption.
- Define the architecture of future silicon products across multiple product categories, identifying key elements to drive a silicon strategy.
- Apply signal processing techniques to large datasets, developing and implementing algorithms to enhance audio experiences.
- Collaborate with project managers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of silicon components into our products.
- Master's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in designing low power silicon components, preferably integrated circuits.
- Knowledge of digital signal processing for hearing aid applications is a plus.
- Experience in writing specifications for silicon component production.
- Background in machine/deep learning techniques and algorithms, including optimization algorithms, data fusion, and digital signal processing.
- Good knowledge of embedded systems and firmware development.
- Basic knowledge of electronic systems and sensors.
Italian and English language proficiency is required.
