About the RoleWe are looking for an engineer or scientist with experience in sustainability engineering to develop and design applied research projects that integrate and promote sustainability practices at different levels. The successful candidate will work on various research projects at the interface between science and practice, collaborating with clients and partners to drive innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and design applied research projects that integrate and promote sustainability practices at different levels.
- Collaborate with clients and partners to drive innovation and sustainability.
- Perform and improve LCA models, develop and maintain tools to support eco-design, and monitor standards.
- Collaborate and coordinate specific studies with external clients and partners.
- Perform product footprint, data inputs collection and analysis, and development of performance indicators through reporting.
- M.Sc. degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, environmental sciences, or a relevant scientific background.
- Work experience in environmental engineering practices, environmental management, circular economy, sustainability, and/or risk prevention and management.
- Basic programming experience.
- Basic knowledge of relevant standards in the field of sustainability.
- Proficiency in Italian, German, and English.
- Availability to move to Bolzano/Bozen.
As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will work on various research projects at the interface between science and practice, for both public and private clients. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in exciting applications and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.
