Algorithm Design Expert

About the Job

We are seeking an expert Algorithm Engineer to join our R&D Algorithm & SW team in Italy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical disciplines, with a Master's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of C, C++, and Python programming languages, as well as good knowledge of statistics, models, and data analysis.

The role requires a high level of expertise in algorithm development, software optimization, and data analysis, with a strong focus on innovation and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms to improve the accuracy, speed, and reliability of our tools for customers.
• Design and implement self-calibration procedures for our tools.
• Write documentation for the software developed, including release notes and user instructions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a technical discipline (Physics, Mathematics, etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of C, C++, and Python programming languages.
• Good knowledge of statistics, models, and data analysis.
• Good knowledge of English language (B2, at least).
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.

• Patient and able to work through iterations to find the best solution.

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 2 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
