Meat Associate

Job Overview:

The Meat Clerk at Festival Foods is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring the highest quality of meat products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist guests with finding items on the sales floor and receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering department telephone or addressing guest concerns on the sales floor.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing all meat products on display.
• Ensure high-quality standards by following proper procedures and maintaining proper inventory levels.
• Support teammates and contribute to the culture of the Meat Department.

Requirements:

• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
• Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle a diverse crew in a highly stressful environment.
• Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Stand in one place for a long period of time, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
• Full range of upper body motion.
• Lifting up to 80 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.

Work Schedule:

The Meat Clerk is an hourly part-time or full-time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
