We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller specializing in Marketing and Communication to spearhead our finance division's emphasis on marketing investments. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in return on investment (ROI) evaluation and demonstrate exceptional skills in budget oversight. Your contribution will be pivotal in maximizing marketing expenditures to propel organizational growth while ensuring that every dollar is judiciously spent and strategically allocated.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and oversee a detailed budget for all marketing and communication endeavors, guaranteeing that resources are distributed effectively and efficiently. Perform comprehensive ROI assessments for all marketing initiatives, measuring outcomes against financial targets and providing actionable insights. Develop and sustain financial models to project the results of marketing efforts and evaluate their profitability. Implement robust systems and procedures for accurately tracking marketing expenses and their respective returns. Collaborate intimately with the marketing team to grasp campaign goals, design suitable financial tracking systems, and report on fiscal performance. Deliver thorough financial reports on marketing and communication projects to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders. Actively seek out opportunities for cost efficiencies and performance enhancements within the marketing budget. Utilize financial insights to influence and refine marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching financial objectives. Serve as the financial steward for marketing and communication expenditures, ensuring adherence to internal controls and external regulations. Mentor the marketing team in understanding the financial implications of their strategies and practices, promoting a culture of financial responsibility.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; specialization in Marketing Finance is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in a finance role with a strong focus on marketing and communication budgeting and ROI evaluation. Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting with an emphasis on marketing investments. Proven success in managing marketing budgets and delivering insightful financial analysis to inform business decisions. Outstanding analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Strong understanding of financial principles and marketing performance metrics. Advanced skills in Excel, financial planning software, and familiarity with marketing analytics tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
