    At the Prada Group, we value innovation and excellence in all aspects of our business. As a Logistics Purchasing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of our logistics operations.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Purchasing Specialist to manage the selection, negotiations, and contractual aspects of logistics services. The successful candidate will coordinate with the Purchasing Department Manager and other functions within the Logistics Division to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate prospective logistics service providers, including freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Develop and implement global tender processes for logistics services.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department Manager to negotiate agreements with suppliers.
  • Support the implementation of sustainability projects in the logistics area, working closely with the Purchasing Department Manager and the Group Sustainability Director to minimize environmental impact and carbon emissions.
  • Review existing agreements to optimize services, costs, and security.
  • Develop strategies to optimize costs and improve supplier service, interacting with Retail and Industrial Logistics Managers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement systems to measure them, adhering to the KPIs defined during the tender process.
  • Collect and monitor logistics service supply agreements across countries, ensuring uniformity with respect to guidelines provided by the headquarters.
  • Manage accounting aspects with suppliers, liaising with internal Controlling and Administration functions to optimize payment processes.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the current Transportation Management System (TMS) for supply cost controlling and sharing of pre-invoices with suppliers.
  • Prepare periodic reports on purchasing function activities, including cost monitoring, supplier turnover, and KPI achievement.

Requirements:

 

Knowledge and Skills:

A degree in Economics or Management Engineering is required, along with 2-5 years of experience in logistics. Fluency in English is essential, and a good understanding of office, stealth, and SAP packages is preferred. Proactive, curious, and team-oriented skills are necessary, as well as attention to detail, organizational, and analytical abilities.
