RINA is currently seeking an Avionic Software Development Engineer to contribute to its operations within the Space & Defence Division.

Role Overview

The primary focus will be on the design and implementation of avionic software for next-generation aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

Required expertise includes:

  • Proficient experience in embedded real-time software development using C/C++ and ADA95 programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of UML/SysML modeling, particularly with tools such as IBM Rhapsody and CAMEO.
  • Familiarity with Ethernet communication protocols (TCP/UDP).
  • Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in the avionic sector, along with knowledge of DO-178 and DO-331 avionic standards.
  • Understanding of the FACE standard.
  • Familiarity with DDS (Data Distribution Service), such as RTI Connext DDS.

Additional competencies:

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
