Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Specialist to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical product and technical assistance to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to understand and communicate complex technical details, and professional working proficiency in both Italian and English. Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required. You will specialize with our wider portfolio including POLARx and RHYTHMIA equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development.
- Education customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of the Farapulse device by giving presentations and demonstrations.
- Attend cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of the Farapulse system and its components.
- Provide initial and continuous training and feedback for development team and sales representatives on Farapulse, development process, products and features.
- Travel extensively throughout Italy to meet with existing and potential clients and discuss how company products can help them achieve their goals.
- Develop relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts and identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales.
- Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences or a similar subject area, preferably within electrophysiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
- Professional working proficiency language skills in both Italian and English.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required by workload.
