International Host-Hostess

Costa Crociere is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated International Host-Hostess to join their team. As a representative of the company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of onboard activities and providing exceptional service to German-speaking guests.

Main Responsibilities:

• Translate written materials, such as menus and flyers, to ensure accurate communication with guests.
• Organize informative speeches and presentations to enhance the guest experience.
• Act as a point of reference for German-speaking guests, providing assistance and support as needed.
• Participate in public relations events, parties, and other onboard activities to promote a positive company image.
• Provide translation services for medical emergencies and escort guests to the onboard infirmary or shore-side hospitals when necessary.
• Support revenue services through effective communication and promotion to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Make major voice announcements for guests, including safety announcements during drills or real situations.
• Report or address guest complaints, informing relevant department heads to offer prompt solutions.

Requirements:

• Secondary school in Tourism or Humanities.
• At least 6 months of experience in tourism, preferably in reception or guest-facing roles.
• Proficiency in English and German, with a minimum C1 level.
• Comfortable with public speaking and able to communicate effectively with guests.
• Enthusiastic, a good communicator, and problem-solving oriented.
• Sales skills are a plus.
