About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud System Engineer to join our System & Platform Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities
  • Improve the security posture of our cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain and evolve our cloud infrastructure to ensure it remains up-to-date and aligned with market standards.
  • Implement automation to ensure our infrastructure can scale efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with our developer team to release new services and features.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with our cloud infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Contribute to the development of internal automation and services to improve our overall efficiency.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with Python, Bash, and Go programming languages.
  • Intermediate experience with Terraform on complex infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with Docker and Linux-based systems.
  • Strong experience with LAMP stack and cloud services such as Amazon AWS and GCP.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes (K8S) and EKS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog and Dynatrace.
  • Proven experience with Git and GitLab ecosystem.
  • A DevOps/GitOps mindset with a strong drive to get things done.
  • Strong attention to detail and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to solve complex issues with clear methods and intuitive leaps.
  • A strategic and forward-looking thought process.
  • Ability to guide technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
