About the Role

The Financial Accountant is a seasoned subject matter expert responsible for assisting with the preparation of routine financial reports, processing journal entries, and accounting month-end activities. This role collaborates with Senior Finance Manager and Controller to prepare monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial activities within the organization.
  • Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate across various finance and non-finance functions.
  • Analyze journals, produce data analysis and reports, and assist with variance analysis.
  • Plan month-end activities, including the preparation and processing of month-end journal entries and executing various actions in the accounting system.
  • Implement effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations, and ensure the integrity of reported figures.
  • Support the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and external parties.
  • Establish and enforce strong financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in economics, specialization in finance accounting, or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in a multinational environment, preferably in the ICT business.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role and good knowledge of transfer pricing processes.
  • Proficient in budget and forecast preparation.
  • Good knowledge of SAP is essential for this role.
  • Fluent in English language (written and spoken).
  • Strong attitude to work in a team.
  • High capacity to organize priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and relationship skills at different levels of the organization.
