Cashier

Festival Foods is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Engage with guests and provide a welcoming experience
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Bag items thoughtfully and ensure products reach their destination in good condition
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively
• Keep the register station neat and well-stocked with necessary supplies
• Relay guest requests to the Guest Services leadership team as needed
• Ensure all quality and quantity standards are met, especially during peak times
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team

• Customer service skills and ability to engage with guests
• Retail experience and ability to process information and merchandise transactions
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Accuracy and ability to read, count, and write accurately
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job

• The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; walk in the store; bend, stoop and kneel regularly
• Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination in order to operate equipment
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
