Job Overview
As a Junior Consultant specializing in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance and soil and groundwater investigations, you will be an integral part of our Environment and Health Department. This role is based in Milan or Rome and is designed for individuals eager to contribute to sustainable practices that positively impact society and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough Environmental and Health and Safety Due Diligence assessments.
- Coordinating and executing investigations related to soil, soil gas, and groundwater.
- Performing EHS compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders, requiring strong interpersonal skills such as negotiation and effective communication.
- Preparing proposals and reports in both Italian and English.
Your Team
You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, and biologists, all working together on various projects focused on contaminated site management, permitting, impact assessments, and sustainability initiatives.
Candidate Profile
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Master's degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in EHS due diligence and soil investigations.
- Familiarity with D. Lgs 152/2006 and D. Lgs. 81/2008, as well as ASTM standards.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Italian & English; knowledge of an additional language is advantageous.
