About the Role

NTT DATA, a leading global IT services company, is seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Engineer to join its Tangity Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of work products in accordance with Functional Safety standards, including impact analysis, safety plans, and safety cases.
  • Support the definition and improvement of Functional Safety internal processes.
  • Define safety goals and safe states at the system level.
  • Develop safety requirements at the system, hardware, and software levels.
  • Participate in verification and validation activities, including critical review of test cases and verification of compliance with Functional Safety analyses.
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge and application of ISO 26262 standard for at least one of the following parts: Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, or Part 6.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR standard software architecture (Classic and/or Adaptive).
  • Experience in model-based software design and knowledge of code auto-generation techniques.
  • Experience in writing and managing requirements and/or test cases.
  • Knowledge of the V-model for product development.
  • Strong propensity to innovation and teamwork.
  • High precision and attention to detail.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.
  • Availability for business trips.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience in executing safety analyses (e.g., FMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA, etc.).
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion).
  • Knowledge of Vector tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe, PREEvision).
  • Knowledge of Automotive SPICE or equivalent quality standards.
  • Knowledge of ADAS systems and related GSR regulations.
