Assistant Director of Volunteer Fundraising Specialist

Villanova University is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our University Advancement team as an Assistant Director of Volunteer Fundraising. This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your expertise in digital technology and volunteer management to drive fundraising efforts and engage with campus partners.
About the RoleThis key position will play a critical role in optimizing the use of digital channels for all aspects of fundraising, with a specific emphasis on peer-to-peer advocacy and crowdfunding. You will serve as the primary campus partner liaison for significant fundraising initiatives, including 1842 Day—Villanova's annual day of giving. As a subject matter expert in existing and expanding technology, you will equip volunteer advocates for success and collaborate cross-functionally to identify current and future avenues for volunteer recruitment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement digital strategies for solicitation and stewardship, including 1842 Day, Reunion, and other UA-wide initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day operations for crowdfunding campaigns, including project selection, website management, and reporting.
- Collaborate with campus partners to equip their advocacy efforts through resource development and technical support.
- Identify opportunities to leverage crowdfunding year-round via benchmarking, industry-relevant research, and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Two to four years of relevant experience required, with a focus on digital technology and volunteer management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook required.
- Knowledge and understanding of volunteer management and online fundraising strategies.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms and GiveCampus or other fundraising platforms.
