Project Manager Role

Garo, part of Ingersoll Rand group, is the world leader in liquid ring compressor technology and provides highly customized and engineered compressor packages and solutions for demanding applications in the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical industries.

We seek a skilled Project Manager to coordinate internal resources and technical and financial activities for the flawless execution of projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery and meeting project objectives by considering customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Execute assigned projects on time, on budget, and in accordance with order requirements, assuring planned milestones and invoicing.
  2. Coordinate the assigned project team, including engineering, quality, procurement, and logistics.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for customer and company stakeholders.
  4. Prepare and manage project schedules and periodic reports required by customers.
  5. Enter budgets into SAP and maintain updated project economics on a monthly basis.
  6. Plan and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Project Implementation Meetings (PIMs) with the customer.
  7. Organize and manage project meetings.
  8. Coordinate packager activities to ensure timely deliveries.
  9. Participate in final package inspections with Quality and Technical Offices.
  10. Coordinate packing and interaction with packers and Logistics for permits and delivery.
  11. Manage post-delivery activities and ensure punch list completion (supply, NC, etc.) with the customer.
  12. Manage claims with the customer until commissioning completion.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other technical field.
  2. Project Management course preferred.
  3. At least 5-7 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in packages manufacturing.

Additional Requirements

Approximately 90% office and smart working, 10% travel.

  4. Proven experience driving process improvements and efficiencies through LEAN and other tools.
  5. Experience with Profit and Loss (P&L) and financial reporting tools.
