Financial Accountant Role

Treatwell is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their Italian Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the Italian accounts, executing administrative tasks, and collaborating with group companies' administrative departments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong team player and results-driven individual to work in an international department and support the financial activities of a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
  • Prepare VAT declaration and statutory reports (VAT, Intrastat, F24, Withholding taxes).
  • Prepare and control Intercompany transactions.
  • Book and process income, expenses, payroll, and all other financial figures.
  • Manage relationships with third parties such as labor consultants and auditors.
  • Help the office organization: supplies, travel, expense claims, etc.
  • Evaluate current operations to identify and implement process improvements.

About You:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience (accounting consultant experience in a dynamic business will be a plus).
  • You have a problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong understanding of Local Accounting Standards and VAT Tax rules.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on of Excel.
  • You are enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are highly organized and able to work both in a team and independently.
  • You are a good team player.
  • Fluent Italian and English - both written and spoken.
