About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Supervisor to join our team at Planate Management Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of journeyman HVAC technicians in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems on defense sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to HVAC teams to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements.
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including water chillers, evaporators, condensers, package units, split systems, and window units.
  • Detect and repair issues with HVAC electrical circuits and operations for 110V, 208V, and 460V systems.
  • Evaluate and fix problems with refrigeration units, from 2-ton to 80-ton capacity, to guarantee optimal system performance.
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Certified as a Master Specialist HVAC Technician.
  • At least 7 years of experience working with CHS/CCS and HVAC systems.
  • Experience in a leadership or management position within an HVAC workforce.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
