Alvest Equipment Services (AES) is a leading provider of ground handling equipment services in the airport environment. Our expertise spans equipment rental, fleet management, maintenance, refurbishment, and sale of used equipment.

The Role: Travelling Technician

We are seeking an experienced Travelling Technician to join our team based in Roma. As part of our expansion, this role will involve working with customers in Italy to maintain airport equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventive or corrective maintenance at customer sites
  • Update/install options on equipment
  • Detect the origin of a trouble, establish a diagnosis by following logical and methodological procedures
  • Replace or repair defective parts and components and carry out tests and adjustments
  • Enter all activities in our CMMS software to ensure optimum time tracking and feedback

Requirements:

  • Maintenance diploma in agricultural machinery or construction, heavy goods vehicles or trucks, or equivalent experience
  • Technical knowledge in electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, automated systems
  • Familiarity with problem analysis and resolution techniques and troubleshooting
  • Autonomous and rigorous with initiative, responsiveness, and organizational skills
  • Good analytical mind, good synthesis skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Professional English preferred (B2)
  • Comfortable with computers and tablets
About You

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices is essential.

What We Offer

As a Travelling Technician with Alvest Equipment Services, you can expect a competitive salary range of €35,000-€45,000 per year, depending on experience.
