About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe. As a key member of our purchasing function, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and optimal pricing.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is maintained at optimal levels.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible terms.
  • Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure that procurement needs are met.
  • Analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Panasonic's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field, such as finance or economics.
  • 3-4 years of commercial finance experience, preferably in a factory environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
