Job Title: Senior Tax Analyst

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join its Italian Tax group. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in the Company's tax compliance, research, and planning, execution, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file accurate Income Tax Returns (Unico) and consolidated Tax Returns (CNM) for each Italian Legal Entity.
  • Assist with the preparation, analysis, and review of year-end income tax provisions for assigned subsidiaries and various computations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups within the Company and external consultants to solve tax-related issues.
  • Maintain a calendar of due dates for international tax compliance and reporting tasks.
  • Support the Italian Tax team in preparing and reviewing VAT/Indirect Tax filings.
  • Prepare and review all Direct Tax filings and Withholding tax returns.
  • Assist with Italian payroll tax compliance and audit inquiries.
  • Support general domestic tax compliance for all Italian businesses.
  • Assist with audit and internal controls support, handling audit queries, and preparing audit and reconciliation schedules.
  • Deal with external auditors and support STAT FS and Consolidated STAT FS for the Tax portion.
  • Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation and collaborate with cross-functional groups to prepare tax benefits.
  • Support Finance Transformation projects and implementation.
  • Support ad-hoc requests from Corporate.
  • Support various projects in the region and admin/accounting/Intercompany requests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of GL accounting and taxes experience.
  • Certified accountant or postgraduate degree in business and accounting education according to Italian accounting standards.
  • Strong Excel skills and Italian native language.
  • Must have a strong command of English, written and spoken, and be able to participate or lead meetings in English.
  • Previous experience working in an audit environment or a multinational organization with 2+ years of finance/accounting experience.
  • Advantage to have 2+ years of experience with Oracle ERP accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate financials and related issues in clear business language.
  • Drive and assertiveness to achieve work deadlines and performance goals.
