Health and Safety Manager Role Summary

Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the health and safety function at our Fulfillment Centre, including supervision of staff, collaborative health and safety projects, and providing authoritative advice and guidance on health & safety matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the health and safety function at the Fulfillment Centre, including supervision of staff and ensuring delivery of objectives.
  • Proactively engage in collaborative health and safety projects across all operations sites.
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on health & safety matters to all stakeholders within designated area of responsibility.
  • Drive behavioural culture change programme across a large, complex, multi-shift operation.
  • Review and audit arrangements for health & safety management and continuously improve these arrangements where appropriate.
  • Provide strategies to plan and organise work systems to reduce health & safety risks and recommend suitable adaptations to plant, machinery, and processes.
  • Provide management information and statistics related to your area of responsibility.
  • Support business change through effective change management processes within the fast-paced Fulfillment Center environment.
  • Implement and review company global safety policies ensuring that local legislative requirements are also met.
  • Ensure robust reporting regimes are in place for H&S statistics.
