About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Starion. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our clients' data and systems.

You will be responsible for conducting security risk assessments, establishing security requirements, and providing guidance on the implementation of security measures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer sciences, IT, or a related field, and will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • University Degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences, IT, Information Security, Electronic/Communication/Aerospace Engineering or relevant technical domain.
  • At least 3 years proven experience in information security or in a related field.
  • Good knowledge of Information Security management policies / standards / procedures, and Security Risk Assessment methodologies.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude and customer focused mindset.
  • Ability to produce and assess technical documentation.
  • Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
  • Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and practices such as: Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS), firewalls, anti-virus software, log management tools, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, authentication systems, Cryptography and Public Key Infrastructures (PKI), Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
  • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, EBIOS, NIST, GDPR.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.

About Space Mission Information Security

As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Starion, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of space mission information security projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data and systems, and for implementing effective security controls to prevent unauthorized access and cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and customer-focused mindset, and will have a strong background in computer sciences, IT, or a related field.

The following skills and experience are mandatory:
