Job Title: Acquisitions Specialist

ManpowerGroup Italia, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Acquisitions Specialist for Fincantieri Sistemi Integrati, a company within the Fincantieri Group that specializes in designing, producing, and supplying innovative integrated systems for industrial electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze market trends and identify new suppliers.
  • Select and qualify new suppliers with the support of the Valuation Suppliers function and monitor their performance.
  • Align with requesting functions regarding the requirements of goods or services, maintaining constant collaboration and relationship with internal and external clients.
  • Guide internal clients, educate them on processes, and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Process purchase requests.
  • Draft and send request for proposals.
  • Manage bid results and evaluate offers to ensure competitiveness in terms of price and delivery, interacting with requesting functions for technical validations.
  • Actively participate in negotiations with suppliers, negotiating prices and revising contract conditions and clauses.
  • Generate and send purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Manage the operational activities of the assigned purchasing area, consistently with the saving/budget objectives and the company's strategic plans.
  • Ensure compliance with the agreed-upon supply conditions, in terms of timing and quality standards, soliciting suppliers and managing any non-conformities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and development.
  • Prepare budgets, reporting, and cost analysis related to various types of supplies and services.
  • Maintain the correct conservation of data and contracts.
Requirements and Competences:
  • Engineering degree (Industrial, Electronic, or Electrical).
  • Organizational skills and accuracy in managing work activities.
  • Negotiation, mediation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial talent, rationality, and analytical spirit.
  • Proactivity.
  • Excellent listening, communication, and relationship skills with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work both in teams and autonomously.
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package (particularly Excel), and a basic knowledge of the SAP management system is desirable.
  • Flexibility.
