C++/Qt Software Engineer

RINA is currently seeking a C++/Qt Software Engineer to contribute to its operations within the Space & Defence Division.

Role Overview

This position is centered around software design and development tasks associated with avionics graphical applications.

Core Responsibilities

The following technical competencies are essential:

  • Proficient understanding and experience with the C/C++ programming languages.
  • Background in developing graphical and embedded applications using C/C++.
  • Strong familiarity with the Qt framework and QML.
  • Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

The following skills are advantageous:

  • Familiarity with design languages and tools (e.g., SysML, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect).
  • Experience programming for STM32 microcontrollers.
  • Understanding of software safety principles and the DO-178C standard.
  • Awareness of MISRA C/C++ coding standards.

Educational Background

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required.
