Job Title: Cybersecurity Penetration Testing Lead

At Alpitronic, we are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Penetration Testing Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Red Team, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of security experts in performing penetration tests on various systems and infrastructures.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of security experts in performing penetration tests on chargers, embedded controllers, vehicles, and backend infrastructures using various techniques such as brute force, code injection, and fuzzing.
  • Identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities in charging protocols associated with EV and CPO, and report findings to support the team in assessing and remediating identified vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with our customer's Red Teams and run workshops and hackathons to enhance our security capabilities.
  • Support 3rd party pentests and oversee and verify remediations.
  • Manage Red/Blue Team exercises, war games, and playbook creation.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in electronic/information engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or equivalent.
  • Professional experience in cybersecurity, including published research and talks at well-known cybersecurity conferences.
  • Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms and knowledge of basic security mechanisms such as secure boot and authenticated SW updates.
  • Experience working in Linux environments.
  • Previous team leading experience, including coordinating teams, reporting to middle/senior management, and creating and running training courses.
  • Knowledge of scanning techniques and SW/HW fault injection mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with reverse engineering techniques, μProcessors and μControllers debugging and control, HW security devices and mechanisms, and their programming.
  • Independent and meticulous working style with an analytical mindset.
  • Fluent in English, Italian, and/or German would be an advantage.
