Data and Digital Transformation Expert

Takeda is transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and innovative patient support programs. We are seeking a skilled Data and Digital Transformation Expert to join our team in Pisa.
As a Data and Digital Transformation Expert, you will play a key role in creating the digital and innovation strategy roadmap for our site and collaborating with stakeholders and IT/technical leaders on digital transformation projects. You will assist in developing DDT solutions to business problems, including integrated processes, applications, data, and technology components.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop DDT solutions and support data-driven initiatives and projects.
- Developing an understanding of business value, dependencies, and risks and applying this knowledge proactively.
- Providing technical input on monitoring of daily operations and assisting on projects bridging the gap between a highly-regulated manufacturing environment and state-of-the-art developments in Digitalisation and Technological Innovation.
- Providing input for hardware and software selection, purchasing, installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
What You Bring:
A Bachelor/Master degree in IT/Computer Science/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Mechatronics or related area with 2 or more years of professional experience in roles supporting Innovation, Digitalisation, Automation, or Manufacturing. You will have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, effective leadership, self-management, time management, and learning capabilities. You will also have experience in programming/data manipulation or analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
Requirements:
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software would be a benefit. Familiarity with statistical concepts and techniques is also required. You will be able to effectively communicate and ask probing questions and write and speak in the English language. A good sense of humor and motivation for learning and co-creating sustainable change and improvement are essential.
Working at Takeda:
At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role, you will work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas. You will also work in a cold, wet environment and may be required to work multiple shifts, including weekends, or supplemental hours as necessary. Some travel may be required.
