Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Technical Expertise

  1. Lead the development and introduction of new AI/ML and GPGPU-based server and storage platforms, ensuring high-quality manufacturing performance.
  2. Organize and drive cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues, leveraging expertise in hardware, software, firmware, performance, and interoperability.
  3. Communicate complex technical information effectively to various stakeholders, from peers to executive leadership and customers.
  4. Balance technical skills, experience-based judgment, and business acumen to inform execution and decision-making.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with peers, team members, executive leadership, customers, and external partners.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to multiple manufacturing sites, focusing on product, test infrastructure, component, and supplier expertise.
  7. Share knowledge and best practices with other Jabil facilities to ensure consistency and excellence across the organization.

Functional Responsibilities

  1. Apply rigorous analytical methods to resolve complex product, process, and material issues, guiding customer and Jabil operational teams towards successful resolution.
  2. Partner with site operations and test leadership to drive root cause investigations, resulting in improvements in first-pass yield, test throughput, and repair yield.
  3. Serve as the primary technical interface for customer product introductions and manufacturing performance, focusing on server and storage subject matter expertise.
  4. Contribute to the development of the knowledge base used for effective and accurate debug, train test/debug leads, and respond to feedback to support daily operational objectives.
Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

  1. Deep understanding of server, storage, networking, GPGPU, and PCIe-based accelerator architectures.
  2. Experience with systems management, including embedded remote management standards, interfaces, and applications.
  3. Working knowledge of OS, driver, firmware, and hardware architecture, device interactions.
  4. Ability to leverage SW/HW expertise to determine root causes and optimize solutions.
  5. Expertise with Linux operating systems, related applications, and script development.

Education and Experience

BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MS preferred.

8+ years' experience in a hardware product development environment with enterprise server, storage, or networking products.

Experience working in multi-site and multi-cultural environments.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment.

Domestic and/or international travel, up to 10%, may be required.
