Job Summary

RINA is seeking a highly skilled Avionic Software Architect to join its team in the Aerospace & Defence Division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software architectures for avionics systems
  • Develop and implement software development and verification processes
  • Define and maintain software development standards
  • Design and develop software compatible with hardware and real-time operating systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in software development and architecture
  • Knowledge of high-level safety critical software development concepts
  • Knowledge of C language and cross-compilation
  • Experience with model-based design and Mathworks tools (Matlab/Simulink, Stateflow, embedded coders) and SysML
  • Knowledge of requirements and design tools (DOORS, CAMEO, Rhapsody or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of avionics standards: DO-178C, DO-331
  • Knowledge of design assurance levels and partitioning (IMA)
