Job Summary:

Ferrero Spa is seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of mechanical and electrical systems on our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems, and production machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.
  • Install new machinery and equipment, and repair and replace faulty electrical components.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC equipment, high-speed horizontal and vertical carton machines, bag machines, and other related equipment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance per established PM program and fabricate and repair parts as needed.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, GMP and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with high-speed packaging equipment and related food production machinery.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills, with knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma/GED and technical training in electronics and maintenance preferred.
