About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection in our Italian office. As an ASPP, you will assist the RSPP & EHS South Europe Regional Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environment systems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with local legal requirements, timely reporting of accidents and incidents, and supporting communication with local authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve Company's EHS policies, strategies, and goals, adhering to legislative and company requirements.
  • Identify risk factors in the company, conduct risk assessments, and implement specific training programs for workers.
  • Analyze and implement adjustments after new laws and regulations are promulgated, resolve non-conformities, and define corrective actions.
  • Carry out instrumental physical investigations, collect and process environmental monitoring data, and ensure delivery of EHS required training programs.
  • Manage health surveillance, coordinate closure of health and safety root cause analysis, and participate in procedure development and updating.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in technical education or EHS-related fields, with expert-level knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. You must also possess in-country legislation knowledge, experience in Incident Investigation methodologies, and proficiency in digital technology and data analytics. Excellent collaboration, influencing, and social media communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to travel within assigned countries.

Evidence of NEBOSH certification and ASPP (HSE advisor) - Module A, B, C is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, as well as a willingness to periodically travel within assigned country organizations. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze complex situations, provide solutions, and promote a culture of prevention and environmental protection.
