Job Summary

This role involves the timely completion of daily laundry tasks, adhering to Three Rivers Casino Resort's high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove linens from guest rooms and sort items by color, fabric type, and cleaning method.
  • Pre-treat stains and inspect linens for damage before washing.
  • Operate washers and dryers according to recommended settings for different fabric types.
  • Fold, iron, and store linens as per department procedures.
  • Report any laundry room equipment failures to Team Lead.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including regular cleaning of equipment and workspaces.
  • Assist in distributing clean linens and towels to guest rooms.

Work Environment: This role may involve exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke, moderate noise levels, dust, and fumes from cleaning chemicals.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing, walking, carrying, reaching, twisting, bending, and squatting. Regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds with assistance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Clear communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • A valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
