OHB Italia is seeking a highly skilled EMC and RF Engineer to join its Satellite and Missions Department in Milano or Roma. As a key member of the Electrical Power Systems, EMC & Harness Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of EMC architectures and ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards.
Main Responsibilities- EMC Architecture Development: Define and implement EMC architectures for spacecraft and satellite systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- System Analysis and Verification: Conduct system-level analysis and verification of EMC, ESD, and RFC performance, including simulation and testing.
- Customer and Subcontractor Management: Collaborate with customers and subcontractors to ensure technical requirements are met and project timelines are adhered to.
- EMC Support for Satellite Test Campaigns: Provide EMC support during satellite test campaigns, including AIT, launch, and in-orbit phases.
- Design Documentation and Management: Develop and manage design documentation, including specifications, performance analysis, interfaces, budgets, and validation.
- Master's Degree in Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering: With a focus on radio frequency and EMC.
- Fluent English (C1 and above certification): Both listening and reading.
- At least 5 years of experience: In a similar position, with experience on Earth Observation, Navigation, or Telecom platform/spacecraft design and test phases up to launch/LEOP and commissioning.
- System Requirements Analysis and Verification: Experience with system requirements analysis, flow down, and verification.
- Design Documentation and Management: Knowledge of design documentation, including specifications, performance analysis, interfaces, budgets, and validation.
- Analysis and Simulation Tools: Familiarity with analysis and simulation tools, such as CST, FEKO, ADS Keysight, ORCAD, and SPIS.
- EMC Engineering Standards: Knowledge of EMC engineering standards, including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-462, MIL-STD-464, and ECSS-E-ST-20C.
