R&D Proposal Manager Job Description

RINA is currently seeking a highly skilled R&D Proposal Manager to join its team in Roma or Genova within the Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scout and analyze European financed R&D opportunities in the engineering sector, collaborating with senior consultants and teams.
  • Support the identification and outreach to potential partners, including research institutions, industry players, and other stakeholders, to form project consortia.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals for submission to European funding agencies, ensuring alignment with technical, financial, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support in the coordination of project activities, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring that consortium members meet project milestones.
  • Maintain communication between the organization, consortium members, and relevant stakeholders, supporting relationship-building efforts to enhance collaboration and project success.
  • Ensure that projects comply with regulatory and contractual obligations associated with International and European funding, contributing to the preparation of progress reports for funding agencies and internal management.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks associated with R&D projects, supporting efforts to mitigate risks and address deviations in project budgets and timelines.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate/PHD in Engineering General.
  • Master and PhD in energy engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, biomedical engineering, information engineering are preferable.
