Position Overview

The role involves overseeing contractual compliance within joint ventures, ensuring that all contractual terms and related charges are adhered to, thereby safeguarding the interests of Eni's upstream operations. This position also provides support to foreign entities within the division engaged in similar activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and monitor related charges in joint venture activities.
  • Conduct due diligence on historical costs during the acquisition of new assets.
  • Monitor audits received from affiliates, partners, or state-owned companies regarding Eni's operations.
  • Assist affiliates in gathering necessary information requested by auditors, particularly focusing on charges from headquarters.
  • Evaluate and analyze exceptions received, especially those common across multiple affiliates, to prepare unified responses.
  • Support the unit manager in identifying potential solutions for optimizing cost allocation and recharge models based on previous analyses.
  • Assist affiliates in drafting responses to auditors regarding received exceptions.
  • This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with international teams comprising resources from various oil and gas players, as well as the chance to understand different business models in countries where Eni operates joint ventures.
  • The audit team is tasked with preparing various audit reports with clear recommendations aimed at minimizing risks and enhancing operational efficiency based on international best practices.
  • Frequent international travel may be required.

Qualifications

Education: Degree in Economics, Finance, or Management Engineering.

Experience: 12-18 months in administration and control, accounting firms, or consulting companies.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and cross-functional problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Languages:

  • Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • French is a plus.
