About the Role:

In this exciting opportunity, you will play a pivotal role in the CIO Office team at ING Bank N.V., focusing on the TECH department. Your key responsibilities will include managing IT budgeting and forecasting activities, as well as monitoring, analyzing, and reporting costs related to Software Asset Management (SAM) and FinOps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • IT Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Software Asset Management: Oversee the management of licenses, maintenance of applications, devices, and multicloud services to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Purchase Orders and Supplier Management: Manage purchase orders, relationships with external suppliers, and related reporting activities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Design and implement reports and dashboards to provide insights into resource usage, cost distribution, and other key performance indicators.
  • Business Cases and Cost Optimization: Support the preparation of business cases and contribute to cost-saving initiatives, ensuring effective resource utilization.
Requirements:
  • Education: A 5-year degree in computer engineering or industrial automation, or a high school diploma from a technical institute.
  • Technical Skills: General management skills, proficiency in workplace activities, excellent planning, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of ING processes and policies.
  • Language Skills: English proficiency at B2 level, with strong communication, delegation, motivation, conflict resolution, and empathy skills.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to interact and work effectively with people, strive for quality, fact-based approach, open-minded, and stakeholder management.
