Join Our Team of Data Engineers

Tactical People S.r.l is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Databricks, ensuring efficiency and scalability of the data flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Databricks
  • Manage ETL processes on Azure Data Factory for data integration from various sources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Optimize SQL query performance and data flow, improving execution time and resource management
  • Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, managing multicloud environments or migrating data between platforms
  • Ensure data quality and security, monitoring pipelines and resolving technical or performance issues
  • Document solutions and provide support to the technical team
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles
  • Excellent knowledge of Python for script development and automation
  • Solid expertise in Databricks for creating distributed data flows
  • Advanced SQL skills for managing large data volumes and optimizing query performance
  • Proven experience with Azure Data Factory and other data integration tools
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure for cloud infrastructure management
  • Ability to work independently in a full-remote context and manage time and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and team-oriented attitude
