ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: Assist system administrators in maintaining ESS/HBSS, including account management, system restoration, disaster recovery, configuration management, and software upgrades. Support the analysis of the MOC C2 LAN and evaluate HBSS requirements, including validating IPs, devices, and operating systems. Aid in the maintenance of ACAS, focusing on account management, system restoration, and software upgrades. Help configure and maintain dashboards, user groups, scheduled scans, repositories, and scan policies within the ACAS and HBSS Suites. Collaborate with site personnel during VRAM uploads and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity directives. Provide training on cybersecurity measures such as patching and STIG compliance. Offer technical expertise in support of MOC C2 system installations and upgrades, interfacing with program office representatives regarding relevant HBSS products and policies. Advise on the resolution of technical issues related to C2 MOC systems and assist with vulnerability reporting. Support site personnel in troubleshooting patching and scanning issues, conducting preliminary IA testing, and ensuring rapid response for emergent issues. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related technical field, or 8+ years of relevant technical experience is required. Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience with DoD enterprise or Navy networks, including 6+ years with LINUX or Windows systems, and 6+ years of experience with ESS, HBSS, and ACAS tools. Proven experience in network operations and maintenance, including server virtualization and systems administration (Unix and/or Windows). Certifications: IAT-III certification per DoD and Navy guidelines, along with certifications in Windows or Linux operating systems, is required. Skills: Expertise in Information Assurance, with a focus on planning and implementing security measures in compliance with DoD directives. Knowledge of military C2 architectures is essential. Ability to provide training to Tier I and II personnel and communicate effectively with both technical and senior Navy/DOD officials. Clearance: Eligibility for Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
