Commissioning Manager - Biomass Plant

FRAG srl is seeking a Commissioning Manager to oversee the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of a biomass treatment plant for biogas production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the commissioning strategy in collaboration with the Construction Manager and Planner.
  • Validate commissioning activity schedules with the Client's Planning Representative to ensure integration with construction works.
  • Manage and coordinate pre-commissioning/commissioning activities with discipline supervisors.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of on-site contractors.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and system works, including method application and verification.
  • Verify that installed equipment, systems, and documentation meet Client-specified requirements.
  • Monitor progress against the contract program.
  • Verify works against approved documentation.
  • Verify material and equipment delivery dates and collect shipping documents.
  • Propose corrective actions to prevent delays and meet project objectives.
  • Ensure proper application of safety aspects by on-site personnel.
  • Coordinate with the central office for personnel, vendors, and subcontractors as needed.
  • Interface and communicate with the Client.
  • Hold weekly meetings with responsible personnel to discuss programs, identify anomalies, and verify absence of technical, execution, and quality risks.
  • Prepare the final commissioning report, including observations on organization, manpower, and technical aspects.
Requirements:
  • Tecnico Diploma.
  • Previous experience as Commissioning Manager in industrial settings.
  • Experience with gas treatment plants.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
