Fresh Cut Clerk Job Description

At Festival Foods, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fresh Cut Clerk to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, interact with customers, and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain high-quality standards in the fresh cut department by observing sales floor and cooler conditions, producing and replenishing products as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by executing the boomerang theory, ensuring that every guest leaves the store satisfied.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the department by sanitizing work areas, shelving, and sales floors as needed.
• Monitor quality and food safety by maintaining accurate logs and meeting quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
• Honor commitments by maintaining regular attendance and finding replacements for occasional absences.

What We're Looking For:
• Strong communication skills to engage with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and utilize equipment such as power jacks, walk-behind lifts, and compactors.
• Physical demands include standing for long periods, working in a cooler, and lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally.
