About the Role

Farfetch is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our Graphic team. As a key member of the team, you will report to the Graphic Designer Manager and collaborate with the team to create innovative graphic concepts and design pieces across all Farfetch collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and create mood boards to inform design decisions
  • Develop technical drawings and sketches to support design concepts
  • Collaborate with the design, textile, and product development departments to create graphic concepts, including linesheets and renders
  • Prepare design files with accurate dimensions for prototyping and production
  • Support the development of print and placement plans
  • Design all-over patterns in correct sizing for garment and fabric printing
  • Verify the resolution and quality of graphics on garments and fabrics

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury fashion brand
  • Freehand drawing skills and proficiency in using artificial intelligence as a design tool
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Creative mindset with a deep understanding of current trends and the luxury fashion industry
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fluent written and spoken English, which will be assessed during the interview process
