We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Chemistry Specialist to join our team at Randstad Italia. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, collaborating with experts from various fields.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to collect and analyze data from scientific databases and literature. You will support our Scientific Officers in producing high-quality reports and opinions, while collaborating with them to meet project deadlines. Additionally, you will assist in organizing meetings with external experts, drafting agendas, and taking minutes.

You will also prepare and attend meetings with external stakeholders, supporting the activities related to document public consultation. Your expertise in chemistry and risk assessment will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the data collected.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of English (at least B2 level)
  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Chemistry or Toxicology
  • Experience in drafting scientific/academic reports in formal English
  • At least 6 months of relevant working experience in one of the following areas: chemistry, food safety, toxicology, chemical risk assessment
  • Knowledge of EU regulations and/or procedures applicable to the evaluation of Food Contact Materials is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary and Work Modalities

The estimated salary for this role is approximately €26,230 per year, based on a 12-month contract. The work modalities include office work on at least 2 days per week, with the possibility of remote work from Parma, Italy for the remaining days.
