Cloud DevOps Automation Specialist

CompuGroup Medical is seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Automation Specialist to manage our software and infrastructure release roll-out. The ideal candidate will have experience with code versioning systems such as Git and CI/CD frameworks and scripting languages. Strong attention to detail and diagnostic skills are also essential for this role.

You Will

• Manage our software and infrastructure release roll-out;
• Enhance and support a build framework for deploying applications;
• Support and work alongside Agile development teams to ensure they have all the facilities to get the job done;
• Drive best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm;
• Establish and run the processes for ongoing maintenance, monitoring, support, and security patching of a platform;
• Ensure continuous improvement within the team;
• Advocate and modernize the services (performance, availability, OLA/SLA,...);
• Improve infrastructure development and application development;
• Keep yourself up to date attending main conferences, as well as workshops and in-house trainings.

You Have

• Experience with code versioning systems such as Git and CI/CD frameworks and scripting languages (preferably GitLab-CI);
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm;
• Strong attention to detail, astute diagnostic skills;
• Experience in usage of automation/configuration management platforms (Ansible, Terraform...);
• Experience in DevOps activities;
• Knowledge of relational databases administration and tuning (preferably Postgres Database);
• Python, GoLang, and Shell scripting;
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewall.
