Position Overview: The Cloud System Engineer will be an integral part of the System & Platform Engineering division. This role focuses on enhancing and advancing the high-availability infrastructure that spans multiple regions, utilizing a DevOps/GitOps methodology to actively support all engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the security protocols of Docebo's cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure the resilience and reliability of Docebo's cloud systems.
  • Automate processes to facilitate infrastructure scalability.
  • Update the infrastructure to align with current market standards.
  • Collaborate with development teams to launch new services.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics for software efficiency.
  • Conduct debugging tasks on Docebo's cloud systems.
  • Contribute to the development of internal automation and services.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Terraform in complex environments.
  • Extensive experience with Docker and Linux systems.
  • Strong background in LAMP stack.
  • Expertise in cloud services such as Amazon AWS or GCP.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes and EKS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog or Dynatrace.
  • Experience with Git and the GitLab ecosystem (including automations and runners).
  • A DevOps/GitOps mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and strong diagnostic capabilities.
  • Ability to resolve issues using systematic methods while also being open to intuitive solutions.
  • A strategic and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Capability to lead technical discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in branching, writing, testing, and deploying code for managing production services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Proficient in source code management.
  • CKAD or CKA Certification.
  • AWS Certifications.
